Inspired by the woollen blankets historically produced by our local mill, and motivated by wanting to put value back into local Welsh wool, Blancedi Glasgwm was born.
Wanting to both revive the tradition of local design and use of locally farmed wool, we were able to source the high quality Blue Faced Leicester fleece from Dyffryn Conwy, resulting in a top quality fine yarn, woven into a heritage-inspired blanket design in two colourways.
Available in two sizes and a complimentary cushion, these products are unique, collectable items, with the added value of being entirely sourced from the local area.
To compliment our Heritage range, 2025 sees the latest editions to the collection - festival rugs and runners in two designs, made from Welsh Mountain fleece, grown in Glasgwm valley itself.
